Children's choir
Welcome to the Cathedral Children's Choir, a vibrant community where we celebrate the joy of music and the richness of our Catholic musical traditions! Our choir is a place where children from kindergarten to 8th grade come together to discover the wonderful gift of music. We extend a warm invitation to all children who have a passion for music or simply want to explore their musical abilities. Whether your child is a seasoned vocalist or just beginning their musical journey, our choir welcomes everyone with open arms. Join us in creating harmonious melodies that resonate with the spirit of community and the joy of making music together.

Children's Summer Music camp 2025
We are excited to announce our Summer Music Camp for 2025!
This will be a weeklong experience for the children of the faith community of the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, going into grades K through 8, to come together for a fun-filled week with a focus on choir, voice instruction, music classes, and instrumental instruction, as well as other fun and interesting activities for the children to learn and grow in their faith through sacred music.
Camp hours will run from 10am-4pm daily, with an earlier arrival time of 9:30am on the NYC field trip day. The total cost for each child is $150, with any additional siblings at $75.
This cost will take care of all camp materials, snacks, hot lunch, transportation to New York City, a Broadway show, and camp staffing. We will start off every day with daily prayer in the chapel. Lunch and snack will be provided. There will be plenty of sports, games, arts and crafts, as well as a full day trip into New York City to see a Broadway musical. At the end of the week, the children will perform in a concert to showcase their musical accomplishments.
Please consider registering your child for this wonderful week in which they can spend time with their friends and grow closer to God through music in our wonderful Cathedral parish community.
To complete your registration, please return both forms below along with payment to the Parish Office by April 15.
